Daily Word Wheel
Find every word using the 7 letters below. The center letter must appear in every word. Letters can be reused. A new puzzle every day!
How to Play the Word Wheel
The Word Wheel presents you with 7 letters arranged in a honeycomb pattern. The letter in the center is required — every word you submit must contain it. The 6 surrounding letters are optional but available for use.
Type words using only the given letters. Each word must be at least 4 letters long. You can reuse letters within a word — for example, if "E" is one of your letters, you can use it multiple times in a single word like "TEEPEE."
Click Shuffle to rearrange the outer letters and spot new word patterns. Use Delete to remove the last letter, or just edit the text box directly. Press Enter or click the Enter button to submit your guess.
Tips & Strategy
Start with the center letter. Since every valid word must include it, mentally prefix or embed it in common letter patterns. If the center is "R," think of common endings like -ER, -RE, -RY, -ART.
Work through prefixes and suffixes. Try adding common beginnings (UN-, RE-, PRE-) and endings (-ING, -TION, -LY, -ED) to roots you have already found.
Look for the pangram. Every puzzle has at least one pangram — a word that uses all 7 letters. Finding it is deeply satisfying and often unlocks ideas for shorter words hiding inside it.
Use the Shuffle button often. Rearranging the letters gives your brain fresh visual patterns. Many players find new words immediately after shuffling.

The History of Word Wheel Puzzles
Target word games — where players extract as many words as possible from a fixed set of letters — date back to at least the early 20th century, when newspaper editors published "Word Wheels" alongside crossword puzzles.
The modern format was popularized by puzzle magazines in the 1970s and 1980s, typically featuring a ring of 8–9 letters with a required center letter. The concept gained massive mainstream recognition through newspaper puzzle columns and eventually migrated to the digital world.
Today, the Word Wheel format is one of the most popular daily word puzzle types worldwide, loved for its simple rules and deep strategic possibilities. Our version follows the classic tradition while adding modern features like instant dictionary validation, shuffle controls, and unlimited replay of past puzzles.
